In any case, as an intro for anyone not familiar with the place and time and surrounding historical backstage, like me, it's a good story, and the art style is nice, too, and adds to the rating I'm giving it. But, on the other hand, it's a legend, and as a rule legends tend to lose their power and sense of wonder the more they're elaborated on, so they skip the day-to-day and ordinary bits for the adventure bits.

The story deserved more development and fewer jumps in time, as it goes directly from 'savages in Queen Bess' court' to 'let's settle here in the New World and have babies' to a Cora/Uncas-style tragic love story. She's given the name Ulalee after a bird from there, and becomes close with a young lad of that tribe called Okisko. What had happened to them?
